About the Book
In 1933, Walter Läubli, of the small village of Gländ, Canton Aargau, Switzerland, was a student in the 4th grade at the school in Rothrist. He wrote these essays as part of his school work as he turned 10 years old. Walter’s simple essays give us an unvarnished glimpse into how he looked at his life as a young boy growing up in the hilly farmland of Canton Aargau, Switzerland.
