About the Book
I had never realized that most of the images depicting India share a common characteristic. In addition to the colors, the subjects, the clothes, and the dreamlike settings we usually associate with this country, air is a natural and constant filter that dominates all the photographs taken outdoor. It wasn't until I landed, that I realized I could tell I was in India just by the unmistakable dusty atmosphere I had seen in pictures thousands of times, without really paying attention to it. That's why I named the thread of all the images I took there "Polvere", which means dust in Italian.
