About the Book
Daniel Desmond's life as a human has not been the same since he fell in love with Adrianna Madison, a beautiful fairy six times smaller than him. When his therapist and neighbor Corielle Corbin (also a fairy) comes upon a large stash of Fairy Dust—a substance that can temporarily make humans the same size as fairies—the three of them set out to make a profit selling it, unaware of the consequences it will have for all three of them.
This novel is about loss and fulfillment, heart and soul, love and selflessness. It's conventional in the way it defies convention. It's fantasy, but at the same time, universal. It's often funny, but sometimes poignant. It's equal parts coarse and tender. It has lots of explicit depiction of sex, a little bit of political commentary, a generous helping of irreverence and sarcasm, and plenty of pop culture.
At this work's very heart is a possibility, the audacity of which shines a bright light into the dark corners of traditional relationships and reveals the flexible gossamer that connects each of us, one to another. It dares to wonder: is love just a quality of the flesh, or is it the fundamental pathway between souls?
