About the Book
"... Shiloh was suddenly jolted awake. She didn't even remember having fallen asleep. Except for a very faint light far above her head, darkness surrounded her. She stretched out her hand, trying to feel for something, anything. Her hand came to rest on something cold and damp directly in front of her. The smell of musty dirt and clay lingered in the air, and the best guess she could muster was that she was at the bottom of some kind of hole, a pit, deep underground. But how did she get here? ..."
Sometimes on the journey through life, we take wrong turns and find ourselves faced with the consequences of our decisions. Many times this place is at the bottom of the metaphorical pit. With outstretched hand, Jesus Christ offers to pull us out of the pit; but it's up to us to accept, surrender, and grasp His hand.
Shiloh finds herself staring at the walls of this pit with each wrong turn she makes. Will she ever be able to climb her way out for good? Will she finally have enough of the heartache and turmoil and decide to surrender her heart once again to Jesus?
