Born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago, I have always been a writer. I like to write my way in my style. My inspiration comes from nature, my kids and my emotions. I use my emotions and feelings to generate poetry, its like it was born into me. I also love to write children stories and diaries. I love to draw and paint and do all my own pictures for my books. I am a chakra meditator and strive to live in balance and also I meditate every day, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, and I love my 1910 Queen Anne Victorian home in the historic district of Kankakee, IL where I live with my husband of 23 years, 2 children, two cats and their 5 kittens, and my bird Ringo. I also have a daughter that is grown and I have 5 grandchildren from her.
