About the Book
This book presents a selection from a series of still life paintings created between 2020 and 2022. At the beginning of the series the motif was approached by applying the paint with a very loose brush, sometimes removing the paint with putty knives. Towards the end of the series the brush strokes became tighter, the elements more defined. The last painting of this period (not presented here) began to feel claustrophobically tight and was abandoned, perhaps temporarily.
