Leon Stephen Brown is a resident of Baltimore, Maryland and a graduate of Cardinal Gibbons School. He also attended Catonsville Community College. In 2008, he became a regional and local truck driver. It wasn’t until he started to drive cross country from the east coast to the west coast that his real passion for photography began. He wanted to be able to capture the beauty of the country through “the lens of a truck driver”. Although Leon has not received formal training, he has taken advantage of the many free internet photography and post-processing classes. Leon served as an instructor for the Contemplative Photography Retreat sponsored by the Baltimore -Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church. When his work schedule permits, Leon takes photos for his church—Metropolitan United Methodist Church in Baltimore.
