MyHeroComics is a company founded by Zawadi Noël and dedicated to utilizing the art form of cartooning to uplift, celebrate, and educate people and their communities across borders. Through the MyHeroComics (MHC) Cartooning Club, young artist grow their art skills, their sense of entrepreneurship, and their understanding of community building. Participants collaborate to create and sell art-activity books that are designed to educate and inspire readers through imaginative, narrative-driven activities and tutorials. Set in a fantasy world these books explore the rich diversity found in community and ask readers to think critically about creative ways to contribute to and support diversity within community. All participating MHC Cartooning Club members receive an equal share of all book sold thereby completing the entrepreneurial experience of creating with purpose, working through a process, releasing a product, promoting it, and making a profit!
