I am an artist, a wife, and the mother of two wonderful boys, living in Northern California. I have my degree in art history from Wellesley College, and a fantastic job with Youth in Arts, providing art opportunities to children from diverse backgrounds. I am also the Executive Director of Give a Jumpstart. Jumpstart has sponsored more than 40 income-generating projects conceived, planned and implemented by local Zambian women. Give a Jumpstart is a non-profit non-denominational 501c-3 organization whose mission is to help the women and children of Nchelenge District in rural Northeastern Zambia improve their status by building a healthier, sustainable livelihood.
