Mary and John, The Early Years is a trilogy. It is a biographical and historical story of two lives from very different backgrounds that began on separate continents, of two hearts that came together at a time when a world at war threatened to tear them apart and of the family and friends who are intimately woven into the fabric of their enduring relationship.



Volume 2 – It is 1940 during the early years of World War II. Mary finds adventure, love, and heartbreak in England. John has joined Les Fusiliers Mont-Royal in Montreal and his path takes him to Valcartier, Iceland, Scotland and then to England. Their destiny takes them in different directions where both are looking for the missing piece to make their hearts whole again. As fate would have it, John and Mary meet in war torn England and fall in love.
