About the Creator
I am Carol Baxter. I combine words into extraordinary client memoirs, dynamic marketing copy for artists, successful grant proposals and nonprofit websites. Handmade quilts, home-baked rolls, and the meter of poetry filled my childhood. It is a tossup as to which made the most impact, art or carbs. Professionally, I am the President of Arizona Professional Writers, a member of the Northern Gila County Genealogical Society and the Scottsdale Society for Women Writers. I was an award-winning news features reporter for the Payson Roundup Newspaper. Personally, I am rarely without a story character or three nattering on and on, trying to gain my full attention. I love to splash in the sea, scratch baby rhinos behind the ears, and rock out to the tune track playing in my head. My husband Ray, daughter Andromeda, and my friends add an abundance of joy to my life, and I am ever grateful. A listener, a doer (Novel this year!), and a dreamer – I am never bored.
