The 31st Annual Governor’s Awards For Excellence in Teaching Economics…For more than 30 years, the Florida Council on Economic Education has recognized Florida educators for innovation and creativity in teaching economics, free enterprise and financial literacy. Open to K-12 educators in all 67 Florida school districts, the Governor’s Awards Program honors educators who have successfully taught these concepts by integrating them into everyday coursework.This prestigious event allows the business community to express their true appreciation for educators who work tirelessly to teach the values and principles or our free market economy to students throughout the state.The Florida Council on Economic Education is excited to offer this year’s Governor’s Awards at Sea World Orlando.
