About the Book
This photo book is dedicated to my adviser, mentor, and friend: Michael Kearney, Ph.D.
Michael Kearney was a professor of socio-cultural anthropology at the University of California, Riverside. For more than three decades he worked with Mixtec Indians from the state of Oaxaca, Mexico and those located in its diaspora.
This book pays homage to his work, vision, and academic influence.
