About the Book
A silly, rhyming book about jungle animals! Written and illustrated by Courtney Boutillier's Fourth Graders during a week-long Artist In Residence program with children's book author & illustrator, Dar Hosta.
Children in this program met with Dar four times to exactly mimic her process of book creation. Through a series of workshops, each child participated in an informative assembly presentation, the painting of collage papers, a writer's workshop of either alliterative sentences or rhyming couplets, and a collage workshop to illustrate their writing. Through collaboration, each class made a BOOK!
