About the Book
This book is a personal vision of Baguio which takes a raw, spontaneous and gestural look at the lives of the people around me. The photographs were taken
between 2002 and 2010 as a result of a diaristic impulse to capture what I see. I have taken those small glimpses of urban life and photographic fragments composing
them to depict irony, relationships and a subtle narrative. This is my attempt to show Baguio not as the tourist “summer capital ” of parks and parades, but of the individual
people and their live out lives under
the sun and rain.
