About the Book
Some images I collected over the course of several years, walking in New York (and once or twice driving...). Notwithstanding some rare exceptions, New York's sights and monuments have no photographic appeal to me. I admire them, of course, and feel compelled to photograph them with mediocre, uninspired results. Instead, I am a glutton for the street scenes, the odd reflection of a bridge cable on a car window, a MOMA billboard, a store front and most of all the people of New York who truly make the city pulsate and scintillate like no other...

About the Creator
Many lives, many places, many passions. I did a lot of crafts as a child. Eventually I came to work with my hands again, the only legacy of a previous life as a scholar specializing in the Preraphaelites and of course the Arts and Crafts movement. I am very drawn to all that is hand made. My only mechanical indulgences are my camera and my sewing machine. You can find my other work on: http://www.zazzle.com/isouz59* http://www.isadoree.etsy.com And finally, my Wearable Art Gallery is open: www.isadoree.com My photographs are but a few images that happened by design, chance or mistake. I let them mean however little or much they want to mean. In my heart, I am 13 years old still and always.
