About the Book
This is the story of the 16 apprentices at MOCA"s program in the 2005-06 school year, as told and seen through the camera of apprentice Michael Yee. Every year, the education department picks about 15-16 high school students from around the Los Angeles area to meet weekly, talk about art, and plan an teen night event. Michael Yee, armed with a Canon PowerShot, sought to photograph every aspect of that.
