About the Book
This is my first make-a-book with Blurb.com.

I decided to make the book after viewing a BBC Hardtalk interview with Blurb's CEO who said 40% of sales were from people who wanted to record their photographs for family and friends.

In my case, having recently returned from Vietnam with the 15th annual Bangkok Patana Year 9 History trip, I thought it might be a nice way to record our trip which was one of the best ever.

This book is dedicated to the 31 Patana students who made it happen and I hope it will bring back happy memories.

History teaching was my job but also my passion. There is no better way of learning history than traveling to the site where it happened. As a teacher at a Bangkok international school for 20 years I was very fortunate to be so close to some of history's great sites, and even more fortunate that the wonderful students were keen to take history trips and make them so enjoyable. Since retirement I have had the great privilege of researching and writing family history and meeting some amazing people who are a part of my wider family.
