About the Book
During the summer of 2010 the Tejido Group from the University of Arizona assembled a group of volunteer students from the University’s College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture to collaborate on a series of projects in Palestine with RIWAQ / Centre for Architectural Conservation. The two groups focused on developing urban revitalization and connectivity strategies for historic Birzeit near Ramallah, Palestine. It was a wonderful experience for all involved. We grew in many unanticipated ways, both personally and professionally.
