About the Book
In our school, it takes a minimum of four years to earn a black belt. This test is a milestone in a martial artist's training. It is a major achievement that most students never make it to. This photographic journey is made possible through the perseverance of an eleven years old karate student who has dedicated almost half of her life to becoming a martial artist. In the beginning, she didn't quite like Karate and earned her junior black belt in May 2009 and recently earned her student black belt in May 2010. Revised and final edition.
