About the Book
=============================
Sometimes we can feel as if it were the first time we see Talavera just but paying attention to certain hints, a detail never seen before, a reflection we have never paid attention to, the scenery seen under a different light or just look for new points of view.
Only photos let us make a special moment eternal, like the red bridge covered by the fog or the snow or El Prado church turned into a witness of the remembrance of the Talavera battle. Small changes like the different hours or the clouds also transform what we always look at in the same way.
We cannot see in these photographs the constant growth of the city, traffic, noises or the most recent buildings. Thanks to these photos we can only appreciate the quiet and calm Talavera, which seems to be a village rather than a town. It is a place where children can still play in the street and where we can hear the birds singing in the morning.
As an epilogue there are some images of the nearest natural surroundings. An example of what we can see in any of the paths that lead to the vegetable gardens around Talavera and the nearby La Portiña reservoir, a place with a hidden beauty.
