About the Ebook
Come along on an epic journey of discovery, like a modern-day hobbit, following Mark William Pollock as he travels up and down the east coast of the United States, chasing the elusive historic lighthouses of the Atlantic seaboard. From New England to the deep South, Pollock captures the color and nuances of an insane variety of America's light stations, and adds his curiously dubious take on the historical significance of each structure. Some obscure, some well-known, each has a story, from the stubby lights high on the bluffs of Massachusetts to the towering giants of Jersey and the Carolinas. Amazing true tales and astonishing, totally unfounded rumors abound here.
