About the Book
From 1908 to 1924 Lewis Wickes Hine took thousands of photographs as an investigative photographer for the National Child Labor Committee. These restored photos from the Shorpy historic image archive represent a sample of Hine's important work documenting the labor conditions of children at the turn of the century.
