I love Milan; it was love at first sight, especially in winter.
My favourite month is November, time for truffles and red wine from Piemonte .
Milan has never been an easy city.
It is hard to know well. Still, even after 20 years it is hard to know it deeply enough to be able to move around easily. Milan hides its treasures.
In the youngest neighbourhood of Milan, right behind Chinatown, there is a place were history and architecture melt together leaving the crowd from the city sliding away like water on the mountain.
