About the Book
My latest work translates photography into giclee prints on archival canvas and/or paper, using archival inks.
I shoot anything that interests me at the time. After years of cinematograpahy, I now concentrate on digital imagery with a Nikon D2X.
As with motion picture film, I've found that editing remains one of the most important aspects of each piece. I emphasize, alter, transform, not re-creating the exact image, but bringing my imagination to the work.
The ink giclee medium allows total control over the photography, from inception all the way through my own printing process, giving each piece an individual stamp.
My diptychs, triptychs and quintychs range from 48" to 75" wide. Individual panel are hung separately or joined.
