About the Book
A journey through grief and the enormous impact of a brother's or sister's death on the remaining sibling. Offering compassion and understanding to surviving siblings, a loss that is most often ignored by society. During the journey, Smith finds little literature to help with sibling loss, realizing that those that have suffered from this type of loss are the experts, she reaches out to them for answers. Carol writes about the understanding of sibling bonds, the lifelong impact of the bond being severed, ideas to aid in the healing process, having a grief partner to help you in your time of need, and dealing with insensitive remarks made by others. Carol hopes to help those that are not only dealing with sibling loss, but also the loss of any loved one. She has included ideas for those that are trying to help someone through the loss of a loved one.
