About the Book
This bold, vivid, exciting take on the ABC book genre features the illustrations of more than 500 elementary students from Hawthorn Woods & Lake Zurich, Illinois.
The book was created as part of an Art Parent project at Spencer Loomis to help demonstrate the concepts of book design and to raise funds for a local literacy charity.
All proceeds from book sales ($2 per copy) will benefit Bernie's Book Bank (http://www.berniesbookbank.org ), an organization dedicated to collecting and distributing used books to children in the Chicago area who need them. For every dollar it receives, Bernie's distributes six books to children who could not otherwise own them.
Enjoy, and thanks for your support!
