My background began with sketching in the hamlet where I grew up in Holland. I graduated from the Dutch Arts Academy in Maastricht. I am grateful to have shown and been reviewed worldwide (In the US you can find a review of me in the Boston Globe). I love music and am inspired by the Boston Philharmonic and the Youth Philharmonic Orchestras in Boston. Friends in those orchestras encouraged me to draw more bears, after I drew a bear playing the harp. I have recently published a book of my watercolors, gouaches and oils both on wood and on canvas . I have exhibited and been reviewed quite a lot, especially in Holland and other European countries and in the US. In the US you can find a review of me in the Boston Globe.
