About the Creator
Portrait Artist and true Master of Photography June Jacobsen has served the Long Island community with the finest baby, family, and children's portraits since 1984. The 4-Time Winner of the Top Portrait Photographer in the Professional Photographers of Greater New York, June has written articles for PPA's magazine and is published by National Geographic and DK Books, among others. Winner of the 2011 Nat Geo Photo Contest and a $16,000 trip to Galapagos aboard the Nat Geo Endeavor ship, June has traveled to all seven continents to photograph wildlife. Her adventures include tracking Mountain Gorillas in Rwanda, trekking up hills in blizzard conditions on Antarctica to photograph penguins and their chicks, tracking the elusive Clouded Leopard in the Borneo Rainforest, and standing on a bay on Katmai Peninsula, Alaska, just meters from a Brown Bear family to photograph her award-winning image, "Perfect Brownies".
