About the Creator
William Kroll
Los Angeles, Ca
William Kroll is an American photographer of the "baby boomer" generation who grew up in Wisconsin and Arizona. Deeply affected by the plight of the working class, Kroll focused on depicting their drudgery and dreams in the black and white starkness he later discovered would be compared to the style of Robert Frank. Kroll relocated to Los Angeles in the 1980's where he studied at various photographic institutes including the renowned Art Center College of Design and has worked as a professional photographer for the last 25 years producing many award-winning images.
