About the Book
A photographic travel log of a city trip to New York in June 2011.
The photos in this book are very personal and every single one of them - except the image on the cover and one or two architecture shots - have been cropped to fit these pages. I tried to give an impression of the things that excite me. Not necessarily the super touristy shots, although there are one or two of those as well and that does not bug me at all. I love all those things that are so New York to me but you won’t find them in a tourist guide. I tried to stay clear of the stereotypes although some sneaked in at the end, I guess it’s inevitable. The images are not in chronological order, I tried to combine images that work together. They create nice contrasts and sometimes they complement each other.
