About the Book
This book is a view through my eyes – an attempt to share some of the beauty I see, both God-created and man-made, through photography. Many of the landscape photographs in this book were made while mountain biking, which is one way I like to get some exercise and some perspective. Riding provides lots of opportunities to make photographs on the trail – that is, if your riding buddies can tolerate you stopping all the time. Or I just go alone.
I’ve been making photographs since 1975, but this is my first attempt at publishing a book. These photos all use HDR technology. For an explanation of HDR, see the back page.
