About the Book
This book had a modest beginning. Marianne wanted to learn how to use the very popular iPhone photography app called Hipstamatic. She quickly fell in love with the artsy and occasionally random images.
Marianne’s favorite lenses were the all around John S, the Lucifer V1 paired with black and white films, the flashy Watts lens, the surreal Salvador 84 and the bright clear Melodie. The films that worked best were Blanko Noir, the painterly Dream Canvas, both Ina’s and BlacKeys SuperGrain. Flashes didn’t play much of a part.
Throughout the book you will find posted iTunes quotes from other happy Hipstamatic users. Marianne likes Hipstamatic so much she is currently working on a second project, “Hip Trips.”
