About the Book
This volume (over 200 pages of full color and black and white photos) is a visual travelogue of a journey to Paris and Southern France in September
and October of 2007.
The journey began in Paris, and continued with visits to the Languedoc-Roussillon region and the beautiful town of Uzes, not far from the Roman
aqueduct, the Pont du Gard. Leisurely drives through the countryside of Southern France included stops in Avignon (to marvel at the Palace of the Popes), the incredible medieval city of Carcassonne, Arles (subject of numerous Van Gogh masterpieces), Montpellier, and an odd little beach community named St. Laurent de la Salanque. The journey ended where it began--in the truly amazing city of Paris, where the experiences were simply beyond words. Perhaps the pictures will tell the story...
