About the Creator
My books are mostly about Camp Highlands for Boys - the oldest American summer camp west of the Allegheny mountains. Nestled along the shores of a hilly peninsula - jutting out into the sandy bottomed, spring fed Plum Lake - Highlands is the stuff of Northern Wisconsin dreams. Camp's University of Chicago origin story - with its many colorful and beautiful personalities - intrigues me to no end! There was - and is - so much to work with! In 2007, I found myself scanning camp's gorgeous old photographs, many of them medium format glass lantern slides! The archival process inspired me to create this collection of coffee table books. I hope you love them!
