I create my work because it gives me great joy and delight it enables me to express my feelings and thoughts were words often cannot be found. It is a safe world of creation and creativity for me. My hope is that others will feel and see what I see and that this brings pleasure to my viewers as well. The images convey a captured unique moment in time. A view of the world in Digital Infrared that is hidden from our eyes a mystery unseen another world. This captured moment can never be repeated. This fact fascinates me. For the last 6 years I have shot mainly in Black and White Digital Infrared as I believe the lack of colour prevents unnecessary distractions and that a good Black and White needs to be a good to stand out.
