About the Creator
Joshua Roy was born in Saint-Anselme, Québec, Canada. As a youngster, he developed a fascination and an all-consuming passion for art. In 1988, he moved to Toronto, polished his English, and began to build a successful career in the world of photography. Having gone as far as he wanted to in the commercial arena, Roy has turned his attention to fine art now and works with several different media through which to deliver his thoughts and revelations. Roy is a true artist in every sense of the word; he lives and breathes to create art. Whether it is with acrylics, ink, pastels, or photography — or a unique combination thereof — he has the extraordinary ability to communicate emotions, a sense of joy, of sadness, of fear…through his art.
