About the Book
The objective of the course which this book outlines is to create a highly concentrated experience in visual art. This class aims to encourage the beginning student, while providing new perspectives for the more experienced artists. Every student must engage in the fundamental aspects of design to build an adequate foundation and be prepared for the next level of art study. Each student will examine various techniques and concepts and, by learning and practicing these approaches, is encouraged to learn about the art of design and the work of seeing, and is challenged to creatively express oneself through art.
