This is the small (17.5 cm square) version of a book of photographs of the Mallerstang Valley ("the magic valley") in Cumbria, UK, taken by an off-comer to the valley who has found the valley to be a very special place. The images capture the light in the valley in a variety of conditions, including some of the waters of the River Eden that rises in Mallerstang.

For the last decade he has been a resident of the Mallerstang Valley in Cumbria with the result that Mallerstang and the River Eden have become the focus of his photography.
