About the Book
Frank Lloyd Wright's most famous home is Fallingwater. Built around 1939, it remains a timeless tribute to his genius. The home is open to the public. Our tour was one of the earliest of the day. The lighting was very dramatic as the sun rose in the sky that October morning. This "behind the scenes" book gives a glimpse of the rarely published kitchen. The tiny basement is included as well.
Presented in chronological order, you really are taken on the tour in great detail. This home was built for the Kaufman family as a weekend retreat. Frank Lloyd Wright designed the home OVER the stream and waterfall. Making it uniquely integrated into the landscape.
