About the Book
"Fragmented Light" is a portfolio of Platinotypes on rare handmade Japanese paper. "Fragmented Light" references time - elapsed, logical, linear time- and time of the heart and emotions. Inspired by the sacred site of Keramicos, an ancient cemetery in Athens, Greece, the Platinotypes on translucent paper are fragile memory traces; they combine the technology of digital negatives with the beauty and archival value of the Platinotype, a 19th century photographic process.
