About the Book
This contains a collection of my 35mm B+W street photographs taken from 2002 until the present day. When I started pursuing photography again as a hobby in 2000, I did not set out to be a street photographer, but my job in the City kept me bound to the urban metropolis while I really longed to be somewhere else.
Thus I started taking photographs of my environment, of the otherwise quotidian and ordinary, which have for some reason attracted my attention, mostly as a pictorial record of my journey through the first years of the new century.
The book includes a critical introduction by fine art photographer, RJ Lam.
