About the Book
Nature photographer Ronnie Maum chronicles his photo journey at the Red River National Wildlife Refuge in northwest Louisiana throughout an entire calendar year. Ronnie's favorite subjects are birds of any type, from the majestic Bald Eagle to the delicate Ruby-throated Hummingbird. Mammals include the Coyote, Cotton-tailed Rabbit, Striped Skunk and White-tailed Deer. Insects are a favorite subject, especially dragonflies and butterflies. Also included are documentary photos of the Headquarters Visitor Center being constructed throughout the year. This book is a great way to discover what can be observed and photographed at the Refuge.
