About the Book
Raja Ampat, "the Four Kings", is the name of a group of islands northwest of West Papua, Indonesia, very near the equator. Located in the Coral Triangle, the heart of coral reef biodiversity, these seas possibly hold the richest variety of marine species in the world.

Randy Harwood has been SCUBA diving and photographing wildlife above and below the oceans' surfaces for more than 25 years. His travels have led him to many beautiful locales around the globe . He also has a general dental practice in the South Bay area of Los Angeles County, in California, where he has been in practice since 1978. His wife, Deanna, is an environmental attorney working for NOAA and specializing in the Endangered Species Act. They reside on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
