About the Book
ASB 2012 Team HOTLANTA, which served in Georgia, spent our spring break working with Project Open Hand. Open Hand has been serving the Atlanta community for over 22 years, creating and delivering nutritious meals to help improve quality of life, and we helped create, package and deliver meals to those most in need. This experience offered the us the opportunity to reflect on and discuss issues related to poverty, hunger, homelessness and people with disabilities. Our team was made up of 9 students and one administrator, and took place from March 10th to March 17th, 2012. This book is dedicated to the experience and memories we had.
