About the Book
This project was an exhibit at the Hickory Museum of Art. It was inspired from my adopted children, especially my daughter who is Latino. I wanted to learn more about her heritage. Instead of traveling to a foreign country, I photographed the community that surrounds me. In doing so, I learned about the importance of remembering who we are.
