About the Book
A photo journal of Rita Martino (Paulick), from early childhood years to her attendance at West Point Military Academy, where she served as a WAC in the late 40's to early 50's. While at West Point she met her future husband, cadet Eugene Paulick. The book contains love letters shared between them during their service, and other details of their flirtatious courtship. After their service they returned to their home towns, both located in Pittsburgh, where they married, built a home, and had 5 children together. Their romantic dream together sadly ended when Eugene died of cancer while Rita was carrying their 5th child. And that is where this photo journal ends.
