Sylvia Naylor is an award winning, nationally recognised fibre artist and educator whose works have won respect across Canada for many years. She began her career in England, as a teacher, before moving to Canada. Sylvia’s quilt art pieces and framed fine art using transfer painted and direct painted fabrics in combination with hand and free motion machine embroidery are in private collections around the world. She has exhibited in juried and invitational shows both nationally and internationally receiving several awards. Sylvia finds inspiration for her work everywhere but her love of the natural world predominates.
