About the Book
It is said that when a door closes a window opens……sometimes several. It then becomes difficult to decide which is the right one. So you try them all, and like the Sherlock Holmes philosophy…whichever one is left must be the correct answer.
The stories, along with the paintings, are part of an on-going blog I started in 2007 when I reopened my studio in New Mexico. It was meant to be a journal of my life and times in the real world and in my painting world. It has grown to include the whys and wherefore's of my inspiration, lack of it, frustration, joys and my addiction to what I call "The Work".
I have always said life was an on-going adventure, a journey that has no end, just new beginnings…… this chronicle is one of them…….
