About the Book
This book being the fifth in the ongoing series deals with demolitions, rebuilds, and in general the recovery of the city of Christchurch from the earthquakes. There are photographs of some of the interesting characters I have met as I travel around the city.
One perceives these books as important historical documents. Although free to look through on this website, you can get your library to interloan a copy so you can get the 'hands-on' experience of looking through all the fascinating, date-lined photographs at your leisure. Major city libraries have these books, but you can ask your library to add these books to their collection. Personally, I prefer looking through a book held in my hands to looking at a computer monitor. The books make good conversation pieces for your coffee table.
